Introducing: Oreo Pudeo

It's been a very long time since we came up with a new one to bring up to the AFookies family. Plus, it has been about 2 years since we first started AFookies. Aaaahhh those days *reminisce* ....

And in that 2 years, we have only made four cookies to be added to the AFookies lists. Can you imagine that? Only 4 cookies in 730 days? You guys must be thinking that we've been sitting around doing nothing all along. No! It's because we take it seriously. Introducing a new menu IS rocket science to us. We would allocate about 4 months for us to actually do our homework (research), testing, retrieving comments or opinions, re-testing until we think that we have found the perfect recipe for the particular cookie. It has been a tough journey for us to find the right ingredients, amount and everything else for this one. Introducing, Oreo Pudeo!

Catchy name huh? We tried to come up with something different earlier but after discussing for a period of time, we're agreed to use this name instead, sounds more...mouth-watering hehe. Now let's talk about the ingredients. We're going to tell you guys our secret ingredients, yup, very unusual indeed.

Firstly, 37% of the cookies are made up of oreo, despite of the name, duhh. Delicious, chocolatey melt-in-your-mouth kind of oreo. Next, we added a special ingredient called, 'cookies and cream' which brings out the sweet oreo taste more than you can ever imagine. Because of the 'cream' in it, you'll  notice a slight creamy, buttery taste. If you don't, then your taste buds are just...wrong. The last part, we added something that allows the cookies to actually melt in your mouth. Something very subtle, and inevitable. You'll get the idea! That's as far as we can guys!

We have more photos to share with!

 Who ate that one!?

Here's something different, if you notice, all of our cookies, they have this air-spaced kind of texture, just like Famous Amos (our rival ), that makes the cookies taste superb! There's a secret to this, really.

Don't worry, we are still matching our prices with the other competitors. As hard as it is, to make these, they're still cheap and affordable, all for you guys! The prices for Oreo Pudeo is the same as White Chocolate Chunk's, that is;

100 grams - RM 8.00
250 grams - RM17.00
1400 grams - RM 85.00

That's all from us this time guys! We are opening our doors to Oreo Pudeo now! Happy ordering! ;)

The Secret Ingredient

Now the title above must have brought confusion to all of you here. What we are trying to teach you this time is, how to find your own secret ingredient for your own recipe. We believe that every recipe has the ability to get everybody's attention, become popular and probably you could make something out of it. You just need that little twist that could possibly bring out the superb affection to everyone!

We are not going to tell you that the secret ingredient is actually 'nothing' nor something like, 'belief'. What we are going to reveal is the truth, on how you can find your own ACTUAL secret ingredient. All we are going to provide to you are just, steps. Simple, steps. So brace yourself and get ready to take action!

1) Understand the concept of your recipe. What does your recipe focuses on? It would be much easier if you could find your own niche from the overly-wide topic. Determine that one simple idea and you're ready to go to the next step.

2) Use that particular idea, to find/test the correct material that you could use in your recipe. This is usually a little bit harder (eventhough we said it would be easy earlier) for you guys since, there is a very big possibility that the market outside has a wide range of product's selection to be chosen. Again, you will just have to keep trying to find the perfect one, but always remember, the better ones, are not usually the best ones.

Guess what? Two simple steps! That's all.

However, we would like to warn you that you will have to keep trying since the process for finding that secret ingredient might take a long time, a very long time indeed. So it is very important for you to not give up and keep doing the same thing as long as you don't lose your interest in it. You have to enjoy what you're doing, then only you know :).

How To Make Your Cookies Taste Better

I think anyone who bakes something, wishes their result(s) to be better than what it is. There are secrets and tips to actually get this done. Some would call for a better, more quality ingredient, secret techniques...or a secret ingredient. But nothing would coincide unless you have this one simple idea that you must not forget, EVER.

Get your measurements right!

...and that is why measurement cups are made with high precision! Such inferior equipments would disallow you to produce supreme results. You can't bake something that you'd wish to produce to be the same as what the comments told you so. Every aspect and corner of the instructions of that one particular recipe must not be taken lightly.

Since we are expertise in cookies (our market niche), we are going to tell you several things that you can do to manipulate your results' affection.

1) Cookies are a bit different than other confectionnaries. You are allowed to experiment with the amount of ingredients to be included, but never estimate them, instead, jot down the amount of ingredients that you've tried to get that perfect result. (Not suitable for cakes)

2) Butter plays a big role in baking. So now you know that you're in for another quest...quest for that perfect butter! :)

So that's it! Once you commence all of these tips, you know you're up for something that any people would like!
